Too Much

It is not that I am
nothing, I am
good. Good at what I do,
for what that is worth.

I am perfect
in the moment,
there is nothing better
than that moment
(see his face, oh, just see)
but he does not want
perfection. It is not
all about the moments.

I am
not good enough to give
less than all that I am,
and all that I am
is too much.

I don’t know how I
can be too much
and still not good enough
but I am.
